We make Gymciety. It appears in this guide, and we say so wherever it does. Every other product is described from its own website, checked on the date above, with what it does well stated first. If we have something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
How we compared them
We took every gym platform that either sells into the UAE from a local office or turns up when UAE gym owners search, and read each one’s own website on 9 September 2026. For every tool we recorded the published price, the trial terms, where the company is based, whether it handles door access and how, whether it includes real coaching tools, and whether you can buy it without a sales call. Where a site does not publish something, we say “not published” rather than guess.
Gymciety is first on the list because this is our site and we believe in it, and the limits section under it is as blunt as the others. The order after that reflects how useful we think each product is to a typical UAE gym, not how much they paid us, because nobody did.

1. Gymciety — best for gyms that coach members, not just bill them
This is our product.
- Published price
- USD 299 or 499 per month; 242 or 408 on yearly billing. Members are billed in AED.
- Based in
- Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
- Trial
- Demo, then self-serve subscription. No free trial on gym plans.
- Website
- gymciety.net
Strengths
- Coaching is built in: programs with 377 animated exercises, nutrition targets with AI meal logging, weekly check-ins, and chat. Most gym platforms stop at billing and bookings.
- Members join by QR code, check in at the door with a daily QR, and buy day passes. Member numbers are assigned automatically.
- Memberships with freeze rules, class booking with waitlists, PT sessions and coach rotas in one calendar, and Stripe billing in AED.
- Transparent pricing on the site, a self-serve sign-up, and a website designed and hosted for every gym plan.
Limits
- No biometric or turnstile hardware integration. Entry is QR at the desk, which suits studios and mid-size gyms more than 24-hour unmanned sites.
- No point of sale or inventory module.
- No WhatsApp automation; member messaging and reminders run inside the app and by push notification.
- Young company. Fewer integrations than the ten-year-old platforms on this list.
Verdict: Pick it if your members are coached by your staff and you want the member app, the coaching loop and the front desk in one subscription. Skip it if you need turnstiles or a retail POS.
2. GymViz — best for biometric access and WhatsApp automation
- Published price
- Not published on their site. Their own comparison page lists USD 99 to 249 per month.
- Based in
- Dubai, UAE
- Trial
- 14-day free trial for UAE and GCC gyms, arranged over WhatsApp.
- Website
- gymviz.app
Strengths
- Native integration with ZKTeco face and fingerprint devices, so lapsed members are refused at the door automatically.
- WhatsApp reminders and payment-recovery messages, which is how a lot of UAE gyms actually reach members.
- POS and inventory, multi-branch management, and FTA-compliant VAT invoicing.
- Dubai office with a local phone number.
Limits
- Pricing is not on the website; sales runs through WhatsApp and demo calls rather than a self-serve sign-up.
- Coaching tools (workout plans, PT module) are recent additions and lighter than dedicated coaching platforms.
- Hardware is sold separately through partners.
Verdict: The strongest local option if biometric entry and WhatsApp automation are your first requirements and you are happy to buy through a sales conversation.
3. GymRoute — best for transparent all-in-one pricing with a branded app
- Published price
- USD 99, 199 or 299 per month. No setup fees, month to month.
- Based in
- Not stated on their site
- Trial
- Not stated; a 7-day setup period is mentioned.
- Website
- gymroute.com
Strengths
- Three published tiers and no contracts.
- Custom-branded iOS and Android member app, POS, CRM and loyalty in the box.
- Payments through Stripe, GoCardless or PayTabs, the last of which matters for UAE card acquiring.
Limits
- Head office and support hours are not stated on the site.
- Payment processing fees are added on top of the subscription.
- PT features are appointment management rather than programming and nutrition.
Verdict: A sensible mid-market choice if you want a branded app and clear pricing, and do not need hands-on coaching tools.
4. GymMaster — best for 24/7 unmanned gyms
- Published price
- USD 89, 129 or 209 per month by member count (100, 400, 1,300). Door access is an add-on. 10% off yearly.
- Based in
- Support teams in Australia and New Zealand
- Trial
- 60-day money-back guarantee, no lock-in contracts.
- Website
- www.gymmaster.com
Strengths
- Purpose-built for 24-hour access with its own door hardware and gatekeeper.
- Pricing scales by member count, which keeps it cheap for a small club.
- Member app, class booking, POS and retention automation in every tier.
Limits
- Support runs on Australia and New Zealand hours, which is a poor overlap with the Gulf.
- No coaching, nutrition or check-in tools.
- Door hardware and access are extra.
Verdict: Choose it for an unmanned 24/7 model where door control is the whole job. Time-zone support is the trade-off.
5. ABC Glofox — best for boutique studios
- Published price
- Quote only.
- Based in
- Part of ABC Fitness; not stated on the pricing page
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- www.glofox.com
Strengths
- Polished branded app and class booking that boutique studios like.
- Memberships, access control and payments, plus AI agents for front-desk questions.
- Well rated on G2 and Capterra, and backed by ABC Fitness.
Limits
- No public pricing; expect an annual contract through a sales process.
- No mention of UAE billing, VAT or local support.
- Coaching and nutrition are not part of the product.
Verdict: A safe pick for a boutique studio with a marketing budget, if you accept quote-based pricing.
6. Mindbody — best for yoga, Pilates and wellness studios that want marketplace traffic
- Published price
- Quote only, across Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate tiers.
- Based in
- Not stated on the pricing page

Strengths
- Listing in the Mindbody consumer app, which the company puts at over three million users.
- Mature scheduling, resource management and marketing automation on the higher tiers.
- Branded app available as an add-on.
Limits
- No published pricing, and the branded app costs extra.
- No access control and no coaching tools.
- Marketplace traffic matters less in the UAE than in its home market.
Verdict: Worth it for a wellness studio that sells drop-ins to a mobile audience. Overkill and overpriced for a strength gym.
7. PerfectGym — best for multi-club chains
- Published price
- EUR 179, 349, 449 or 575 per club per month.
- Based in
- Warsaw, Poland
- Trial
- Not stated. Implementation runs two to eight weeks.
- Website
- www.perfectgym.com
Strengths
- Built for chains: self-service access control, corporate portals, commission management and an API.
- Published per-club pricing, which is rare at the enterprise end.
- Trainer app, facility booking and business intelligence modules.
Limits
- A project, not a sign-up. Expect weeks of implementation and a data migration.
- Priced in euros with no UAE-specific billing mentioned.
- Too much system for a single-site gym.
Verdict: The one to shortlist if you run five clubs or more and want an enterprise deployment.
8. Virtuagym — best for member engagement through a consumer-grade app
- Published price
- Quote only.
- Based in
- Not stated on the site
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- virtuagym.com
Strengths
- A member app with workouts and nutrition tracking that members actually use, plus a corporate wellness product.
- Established in Europe with a large exercise library.
Limits
- Pricing and trial terms are not on the site.
- No UAE presence or AED billing mentioned.
- Access control depends on third-party integrations.
Verdict: Consider it if your members expect a consumer fitness app and you can live with a sales-led purchase.
9. GymWyse — best for multi-location reporting
- Published price
- Not published.
- Based in
- Denver, United States; lists the UAE among markets served
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- gymwyse.fit
Strengths
- Retention and location-performance reporting is the pitch, with failed-payment recovery.
- Says it serves the UAE and Middle East.
Limits
- No prices, no trial terms, no access control and no mobile app described on the site.
- Its production base is in one US city.
Verdict: Worth a demo if reporting across several sites is your main pain, but ask for the price list first.
10. eTOP Solutions — best for a hardware and software bundle with local installation
- Published price
- Not published.
- Based in
- Dubai, UAE
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- etopme.ae
Strengths
- Sells and installs biometric readers, RFID and access terminals across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah with same-day service.
- Membership billing, tracking and reporting come with the hardware.
Limits
- A systems integrator first; the software is the thin part of the bundle.
- No member app or coaching described.
Verdict: Call them for turnstiles and readers with a local engineer. Pair with a coaching platform if your staff train members.
11. Wipaq Technology — best for access-control hardware
- Published price
- Not published.
- Based in
- Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- wipaqtech.com
Strengths
- Since 2012, with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and hardware from ZKTeco, Nitgen, Virdi, SecuGen and UBio.
- Gym software bundled with biometric member authentication.
Limits
- The gym product is one line on a site about doors, factories and hospitals.
- No pricing, app, billing detail or coaching.
Verdict: A hardware partner, not a gym platform. Useful alongside software that handles members and money.
12. Simple Logic IT — best for a local IT partner that also does gym software
- Published price
- Not published.
- Based in
- Sharjah, UAE
- Trial
- Not stated.
- Website
- simplelogicit.com
Strengths
- A Sharjah IT company with decades in the region and a local phone number.
- Biometric attendance is the core of its gym offer.
Limits
- The gym product has no public feature list or pricing; it is one of many verticals.
- No app, billing or coaching detail on the site.
Verdict: Consider it if you want one local vendor for gym software, networking and hardware and are comfortable scoping the software yourself.
How to choose
Four questions settle most decisions faster than any feature list.
- Is the door staffed? If yes, QR check-in at the desk is enough and you can skip hardware and the vendors built around it. If the gym runs unmanned hours, start with GymMaster, GymViz, eTOP or Wipaq.
- Do your coaches coach through the platform? If members get programs, nutrition and check-ins from your staff, you want that loop in the same app as the membership. That narrows the list to Gymciety, with GymViz and PerfectGym offering lighter PT modules.
- How do you want to buy? Published prices and online sign-up: Gymciety, GymRoute, GymMaster. Sales-led with a contract: Glofox, Mindbody, PerfectGym, Virtuagym, GymWyse. WhatsApp-led local sale: GymViz, eTOP, Wipaq, Simple Logic.
- Where do you want support to sit? A UAE office means someone can come to the gym. Gulf hours matter more than most owners expect when a payment run fails on a Friday.
Our honest pitch. If you are a staffed gym or studio whose coaches train members, Gymciety puts the member app, the coaching loop and the front desk in one subscription with prices on the page and a website built for you. If you need turnstiles or a retail POS, pick one of the hardware-led options above and pair it with a coaching app. See Gymciety for gyms or book a demo.
Questions
How much does gym management software cost in the UAE?
Published prices on this list run from about USD 89 a month (GymMaster, for a club under 100 members) to USD 499 a month (Gymciety Gym Pro, unlimited members and coaches) and EUR 575 per club (PerfectGym Enterprise). Roughly half the vendors do not publish prices at all and sell through demos. Expect payment processing fees on top wherever members pay by card.
Do I need biometric access control?
Only if the door is unmanned for part of the day or you have a lapsed-member problem the front desk cannot catch. A QR check-in at the desk covers most staffed gyms and studios and costs nothing in hardware. If you do need turnstiles, GymViz, eTOP and Wipaq install ZKTeco-class devices locally, and GymMaster ships its own door controller.
Which platforms bill members in AED?
Gymciety bills members in AED through Stripe. GymRoute supports PayTabs, a UAE acquirer. GymViz lists Stripe, Telr and PayTabs. International platforms such as Mindbody, Glofox and PerfectGym should be asked directly about AED settlement and VAT invoicing before you sign.
What about VAT?
UAE VAT is 5% on memberships. Your platform needs to issue compliant tax invoices and report cleanly. GymViz advertises FTA-compliant invoicing. For the others, confirm invoice fields and reporting during the demo rather than assuming.
Do any of these include personal-training and nutrition tools?
Gymciety is the only one on this list built around the coaching loop: programs, nutrition targets with AI meal logging, weekly check-ins and client chat, alongside the gym operations. GymViz and PerfectGym have PT modules focused on scheduling. The rest expect your coaches to use a separate app.
Which ones can I sign up for without talking to sales?
Gymciety, GymRoute and GymMaster publish prices and let you start online. GymViz runs a WhatsApp-led trial. Glofox, Mindbody, PerfectGym, Virtuagym and GymWyse are quote-based.
