Terms of Service

Gymciety provides a coaching platform for personal trainers and their clients, available on iOS, Android, and at gymciety.net. Features include workout programming, nutrition tracking, messaging, scheduling, and progress logging.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Coaches signing up to manage paying clients must also be legally able to enter into contracts in their jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for any activity on your account.

Solo Personal Trainer subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are billed by Apple under your Apple ID. The 7-day free trial begins when you confirm the purchase. After the trial you are charged automatically at the price of the plan you selected:

• Coach Basic: $29.99 per month or $299.90 per year.
• Coach Pro: $44.99 per month or $449.90 per year.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings on your iPhone: tap your name → Subscriptions → Gymciety. Cancelling during the current period does not produce a refund of that period’s charge.

Subscriptions purchased on gymciety.net are billed by Stripe. You can update payment methods, switch plans, view invoices, or cancel from the Stripe customer portal linked inside your dashboard. Refunds are handled case-by-case in line with applicable consumer law; email us if you believe you are entitled to one.

A 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers of the Coach plans on iOS. If you cancel before the trial ends you will not be charged. Comp (complimentary) accounts granted directly by the Gymciety team carry the duration specified at the time of grant; we can revoke a comp at any time.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything illegal or to facilitate harm.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code.
• Resell, sublicense, or rent the service without our written permission.
• Send unsolicited messages or upload content you don’t own.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or subscription gates.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

Coaches are independently responsible for the safety and appropriateness of the programs they assign and for any advice they give. Clients should consult a qualified medical professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition programme. Gymciety provides the tools; it does not provide medical, dietary, or fitness advice.

You retain ownership of everything you upload — your workouts, programs, messages, photos. You grant Gymciety the limited licence needed to host that content and to deliver it to the coaches or clients you choose to share it with.

You can delete your account at any time from the app’s Settings screen or by emailing support@gymciety.net. We can terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections on liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gymciety disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gymciety’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Gymciety is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
